2026 Winners

Burger Nelson Tasman 2026 showcased the creativity, flavour, and passion of hospitality venues across the region. With locals and visitors eating their way around Nelson Tasman throughout the campaign, the competition was fierce and the standard incredibly high.

After weeks of burger appreciation and strong community support, three burgers rose to the top.

🏆 SUPREME BURGER CHAMPION

Mac Daddy Clucker
Sprig + Fern Marsden

Taking out first place, Sprig + Fern Marsden delivered a showstopper with the Mac Daddy Clucker. Crispy fried chicken stacked on a golden mac 'n' cheese croquette with hot maple glazed bacon — this burger proved that bold flavour combinations and flawless execution win the day. A well-deserved champion.

🥈 RUNNER UP

The Meadows Philly Melt
Sprig + Fern The Meadows

Coming in second, Sprig + Fern The Meadows impressed burger lovers with The Meadows Philly Melt. Sliced scotch fillet, house-made cheese sauce, and caramelised onions proved that sometimes classic technique and quality ingredients are all you need. A elegant and delicious entry.

Smoked Pork Stack
Sprig + Fern Tahuna

Rounding out the top three, Sprig + Fern Tahuna earned third place with their Smoked Pork Stack. Eight hours of smoking, crispy bacon, sweetcorn fritter, and house-made pickles — this burger showcased serious craft and commitment to flavour. A standout creation.
